Water Safety Instructor (Swim Instructor)
The American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) instructs participants of all ages in swimming technique, skill, and water safety.
Requirements: American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (preferred), CPR/AED, minimum one year swim instructor experience. Knowledge & ability of all four competitive strokes (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle) and elementary backstroke/sidestroke.
Protect the safety and well being of all members and guests using the aquatic facilities. The Lifeguard will work directly with participants providing courteous, friendly and professional assistance. The Lifeguard is team oriented, friendly, and outgoing.
Requirements: Must hold current Red Cross or YMCA Lifeguard Training Certification, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and Standard First Aid. Previous lifeguard experience preferred, but not required.
The Personal Trainer interprets and evaluates the need, and plans, implements, and leads integrated individualized and small group exercise programs for clients at all levels, with a broad range of fitness, and rehabilitation techniques. The Personal Trainer supports and motivates their clients to exercise, and encourages them to live a healthier lifestyle.
Requirements: Personal Training or Corrective Exercise certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
